1,000 frozen turkeys donated by law firm

TAMPA - Hundreds lined up outside the Pendás law offices on W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Monday to get a free frozen turkey. The law firm donated 1,000 of the birds for the Thanksgiving holiday.

"I have been blessed for so many years," said lawyer Lou Pendás. "I just felt that it was something that I should do just to help somebody out."

Pendás said he initiated the program three years ago at his Orlando office and last year expanded the giveaway to his Tampa office.
